The BEST Ceviche of My Life — A Hidden Gem in Laval! As someone who considers themselves a ceviche professional, I can confidently say: I have NEVER had a ceviche this good in my life. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced — it’s absolute perfection in every bite. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better... they have Micheladas too! Solymar Laval isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a vibe. The space is clean, vibrant, and absolutely stunning — every detail is so well thought-out. The staff? So sweet, welcoming, and attentive, you truly feel like family the moment you walk in. I feel so lucky to have a place like this so close to home. This is now my go-to for every celebration — birthdays, family dinners, spontaneous ceviche cravings, you name it. I’m already planning to bring my entire family here! 10/10. Highly, highly recommend. Solymar is a treasure.

Honestly just great food, service and most of all vibes If you're looking for a good time and something reasonably priced I highly suggest giving this place a chance. Friday's and Saturdays they have live music and they, are, AMAZING.

Excellent food and great service. I've been to Peruvian restos all around MTL/Laval and though others might be cheaper, this one is easily one of the highest quality. This one is also really big which should be great for large groups. I highly recommend their Jalea or Seco as two of my favourite dishes I've tried at Solymar.

We came here to celebrate one of our friends birthday, most of us are from Chile and Mexico and we can tell you that the service provided by the restaurant was AWESOME... The Ceviche was perfect, just be careful of the Chili inside the plate (very hot). There was very good live music from all South America and a very nice happy ambience. Great job done by William our server who was very polite, professional and funny at times. I am definitely coming back here soon with more friends.

We went to the Laval Location Finally got to try this place and it did not disappoint. The place itself is very big, 2 floors. And they also have a patio. We went Saturday night and it was full house Waitress and staff in general were very friendly They have a selection of drinks/beer/wine. This place plays Spanish music which is very nice. All the drinks we had were very good The Pina colada comes in the pineapple. We ordered a lychee martini and the best I've ever had The only down about this is that it took abitt of time to get our food but it was worth the wait because the food was delicious. Very big portion and decent prices for everything. It was so hard to choose what to get because the menu had all of kinda of Peruvian dishes. We ordered the seafood paella, the Peruvian ceviche, mussels with Safron, calamari, garlic shrimps..etc Everything was amazing other then the calamari, it was average. Would definitely recommend this place if you are willing to try food from Peru. Cannot wait to go back to try other plates of there menu. Definitely will try the meat plates they looked reply good Also this is a must if you are a big group and also for birthday parties.

This restaurant is huge, yet it is well-managed and efficient. Some of the dishes seem to be simple but turned out to be very tasty. For example, the mixed seafood soup and the steamed grouper fillet with beer veloute sauce have always been the must-order items on each visit. This place is surely on my list of frequent visited restaurants.

I loved Solymar restaurant. The food is D E L I C I O U S with a good number of options to choose from. The dishes are quite generous, so it is not necessary to order an entry unless it is to share. The passion fruit pisco sour is wonderful. We loved it. The service of the waiters is warm and friendly, as is typical of Latin people In general, it is an excellent place to enjoy the best of Peruvian food and a delicious pisco sour

Everything was amazing, I've been eating at the original place for a couple of decades now. I'm a big fan and I was excited to see the new location. I wasn't disappointed with food and atmosphere, the only thing I was disappointed about was they did not have TAP to pay. It's 2024, I rarely carry my cards with me. Luckily I was with someone who I was able to e transfer and pay for big bill.
